We're Getting Married!

Please join us in celebrating our wedding on Saturday the 10th of August 2024!

The ceremony will take place at 1.00pm at Kelburn Estate, Fairlie, Largs, followed by drinks, dinner, drinks, killer dance moves and drinks.

Please arrive by 12:30pm to allow time to walk from the Pavilion to the Walled Garden.

Last orders at the bar at 12:30am.

Dress Code

Guys - kilts if you've got 'em please! Be aware we will be getting married outside whatever the weather, so if the forecast doesn't look stellar bring an umbrella! We will also be spending the afternoon in the Walled Garden at Kelburn, so stiletto heels might present a challenge...

Dietary Requirements

The wedding meal will be sharing platters - so all we need from you is to know if you are veggie, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, allergic to molluscs, etc.

Accommodation

There is a campsite immediately adjacent to the pavilion at Kelburn and campervans can be parked in the carpark there too. See https://www.kelburnestate.com/camping/ for more info.

At time of writing there are some AirBnB properties and hotel availability nearby. The nearest towns beyond Largs are Fairlie, West Kilbride, Kilbirnie and Dalry. Hotels to try would include places like Seamill Hydro, Seamill House Hotel, The Waterside, The Haylie Hotel and the Woodhouse Hotel.

We have also secured 5 rooms in a hotel outside Dalry at a rate of £90 per room, these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Children

Our boys will be there celebrating the day with us, so if you have your own small humans and you want to bring them please do, they'll be entertained. However if you want to let your hair down and have a day off from parenting that's fine too. Just let us know if you are bringing your kids when you RSVP.

Challenges

So, dear guests, we'd like everyone who's coming to send us a selfie before the big day. It can be a beautiful selfie, a crazy selfie, a low-effort selfie or a high-energy selfie... but however you do it, we need it from you by 10th June 2024 please. There will be prizes for the ones that tickle us most!
